These suspects will appear at Stutterheim Magistrate Court on Monday 04 August 2025.
When the sunrise at about 08h00 members were joined by the Women’s Network and other law enforcement officials and they organised a roadblock on the N6 road between East London and Stutterheim. Traffic fines to the value of R5600-00 were issued to the motorists who did not adhere to traffic rules. After the roadblock they enhanced a high visibility in the CBD and inspected liquor outlets on noncompliance.
The Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ndiki appreciated the dedication of the members in preventing and combating anything that threatens the safety and security of any community and ensuring offenders are brought to justice. “This is the beginning of Women’s month, as females we must ensure a high visibility and stamp the authority in the fight against crime,” Lt Col Ndiki concluded.
