Over 100 fines issued at a roadblock on the R562 and Phumulani Mall
On Friday 19 September 2025, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Northern Region Precinct Officers, conducted a roadblock on the R562 and Phumulani Mall, in the Clayville area and Terrace and Paul Kruger in the Edenvale area.
The roadblock was a success where Officers managed to stop and search 270 vehicles, issue 109 traffic fines and discontinued 2 vehicles.
