Police in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen in the Mopani District, have launched a manhunt for stock theft suspects who allegedly stole five head of cattle and a calf at Nakampe village.
Police in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen in the Mopani District, have launched a manhunt for stock theft suspects who allegedly stole five head of cattle and a calf at Nakampe village.
Reports indicate that on Sunday morning, 21 December 2025, at around 08:00, the 76-year-old livestock owner was alerted by the cattle herder, who informed her that the cattle had been stolen from the kraal and that the fence had been cut.
They searched the surrounding bushes in an attempt to locate the livestock, but without success. The total value of the stolen livestock is estimated at approximately R80 000.00.
