5 Injured when bakkie crashes into river
Mtunzini- KwaZulu Natal – 21 November
Five men suffered injury after being thrown from the back of a bakkie in Mtunzini in KwaZulu-Natal late yesterday afternoon.
It is believed that the driver of the bakkie lost control at around 6pm yesterday before the vehicle overturned, rolled down an embankment and landed in the river below.
The three men that were seated at the back suffered injury as well as the 40 year old driver and the front passenger.
Paramedics and rescue workers had a difficult task to stabelise the men where they were lying on the steep embankment after the crash.
All of the passengers and the driver were transported to the Northdale Privincial Hospital for further treatment.
