Centurion pedestrian crash leaves man injured
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a pedestrian accident on the R55 in Olievenhoutbos, Centurion this morning.
Upon their arrival at the scene they found a man, believed to be in his forties, sitting on the side of the road after he was knocked over by a motor vehicle.
Upon assessment of the pedestrian, paramedics found that he had sustained serious injuries during the pedestrian accident. The injured man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events are still unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
