Five children injured in three vehicle Benoni collision
Five school children were injured this morning after a three vehicle collision on Heald Road in Daveyton, Benoni.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found two light motor vehicles as well as a taxi parked on the side of the road. Occupants from the vehicles were found seated on the pavement.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that five children, aged between 9 and 13, that had been travelling in the taxi had sustained only minor injuries in the collision.
Fortunately no-one sustained any serious or fatal injuries in the collision
The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Sunshine Hospital for urgent treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
