Woman killed in collision on the P483 between Madadeni and Osizweni
A woman, believed to be in her thirties, was killed when she was ejected from a vehicle on the P483 between Madadeni and Osizweni, KwaZulu Natal.
Shortly after 7pm paramedics arrived on the scene where they found a vehicle lying on its side. The woman was found several meters away from the vehicle. Unfortunately, there was nothing that paramedics could do for her and she was declared dead. A man, also believed to be in his thirties, was found trapped in the vehicle. The local fire department had to use the jaws of life to free him from the vehicle.
He was treated on scene for moderate injuries and later transported to Mediclinic Newcastle.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.
