Kroonstad rollover crash leaves one dead
At 17h56 on Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a vehicle that overturned along Reitz Street in Kroonstad. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle was rounding a bend when he veered off the roadway and rolled several times.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the twisted frame of the vehicle had come to rest on its side in the veldt. Tragically it was found that the driver, a man in his fifties tragically died at the scene due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain a subject for the South African police to investigate.
