One critical and four others injured in collision
A collision involving only one vehicle occured this afternoon on the N8 between Kimberley and Petrusburg in the Northern Cape. The collision left a total of five people injured.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene and found that one person had sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to hospital for urgent care. The remaining patients sustained minor to moderate injuries. ER24 treated and transported one patient to Kimberley Hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated and transported by other services.
The cause of the incident remains unknown, local autorities were on scene for further investigation.
