Eight injured when bakkie overturned
Eight people were left injured after a bakkie overturned on the N14 near Pinehaven Crossing, west of Johannesburg earlier today. The bakkie was also pulling a trailer. It is believed that the driver of the bakkie lost control of the vehicle which caused it to overturn, ejected most of the occupants.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found that all the injuries that were sustained ranged form minor to serious. ER24 treated and transported a total of four patients to Pinehaven Hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated and transported to hospital by other medical services.
The cause of the incident is still unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
