Two children injured in three vehicle collision.

Two girls, aged 5 and 13, were injured this afternoon when two light motor vehicles and an SUV collided on the Ascott-on-Vaal Road in Vereeniging.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the two light motor vehicles and SUV in the middle of the busy road. Several people were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the people on scene and found that two girls, aged 5 and 13, had sustained moderate injuries in the collision.

Fortunately, no other patients were found on the scene.

Paramedics treated the two girls for their injuries and transported them to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further treatment.

The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
