Fatal collision on the N2 between Mondplaas and Jeffreys Bay to be investigated
An 80-year-old man died when the motor vehicle he was traveling in was involved in an accident on the N2 between Mondplaas and Jeffreys Bay this morning.
It is alleged that a collision between a truck and a VW Tiguan occurred at about 04:30, and a Tiguan immediately caught fire on impact. The deceased was the driver of the Tiguan, and the only occupant. Police have opened a case of culpable homicide for further investigation, and the circumstances surrounding the incident form part of the investigation.
