Five-Year-Old Injured After Fall From First-Floor Apartment: Waterloo – KZN
A five-year-old boy sustained head injuries after falling from the first floor of an apartment in Waterloo – KwaZulu-Natal, this (afternoon).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance on Python Road at approximately 16:13. Reaction Officers and RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, First Responders were informed that the child had allegedly been alone on a veranda that did not have balustrades. He reportedly fell and struck his head on the concrete below.
Paramedics assessed and stabilised the child at the scene before transporting him by ambulance to a medical facility for further treatment.
