During the operation, a taxi driver was stopped and charged for unlawfully driving on the emergency lane.
Emergency lanes are strictly reserved for breakdowns and emergency vehicles. Misuse of these lanes endangers lives and disrupts critical response efforts.
Motorists are reminded to obey the rules of the road at all times
