Police actions intensified in Henneman
FREE STATE – Brigadier Envor Solomon led a multidisciplinary action in the Lejweleputswa District as part of the Safer Festive Season Operations. The operation which aimed to intensify police efforts to combat crime and enforce compliance was held in Hennenman today, 18 December 2025.
The operation consisted of members from Vispol, K9 Unit, POP, Stocktheft,VCIU, Crime Intelligence, DOCC, AGU, TRT, Corporate Communication, Airwing and Detectives. The SAPS was joined by other stakeholders including DHA, Provincial Traffic, Matjhabeng law enforcement, DESTEA, EMS and Hennenman CPF.
During the operation stop and searches were conducted at multiple vehicle check points with focus on drugs, unlicensed firearms, stolen goods and undocumented persons. Business premises were visited for compliance checks and tracing of wanted suspects was done.
Through the joint efforts arrests were made for unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of drugs, contravention of the illegal immigration act and fines issued for non-compliance and road traffic violations. Illicit goods, drugs and precious metals were confiscated. The operation displayed high authority presence and dedication.
