Suspect Flees After Storeroom Theft: Brindhaven – KZN
A suspect fled into nearby bushes after stealing tools from a storeroom at a residence on Myrtle Place, Brindhaven, KwaZulu-Natal at approximately 06:05 today (Friday, 27 March 2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call reporting a suspect on the property. Upon arrival, the caller directed Reaction Officers towards a male wearing a black jacket and shorts who fled the property. The suspect noticed the approaching vehicles and fled on foot into nearby bushes.
Reaction Officers pursued the suspect and conducted a search of the area where an extension cord and power tools were recovered.
The recovered items were positively identified by the homeowner as tools that had been stored in a storeroom behind the residence.
