Following the successful outcome of Friday night’s operation with South African Police Service (Durbanville) and the Titanium Crime Prevention Unit, Titanium Securitas was invited to participate in a follow-up operation on Saturday evening.

The operation focused on the Fisantekraal area, where members executed SAPS warrants and conducted stop-and-search procedures targeting drug-related activities.

During Saturday evening, 6 suspects were arrested on various charges, including possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of illegal substances such as cocaine, mandrax, and tik.

The success continued into Sunday night, where an operational briefing was held between Kraaifontein SAPS Crime Prevention Unit (CPU), CIG, and Titanium Securitas CPU. The focus shifted to executing search warrants in the Scottsdene area of Kraaifontein for illegal firearms and drugs.

While the initial residences yielded no results, the third property led to a significant breakthrough. A suspect was found in possession of various calibres of ammunition, including 9mm, .38, and .45 rounds. A 1911 firearm was also recovered, along with drugs (tik and mandrax).

This joint initiative between SAPS and Titanium Securitas continues to deliver positive results in combating crime and enhancing community safety.
