Beachgoer Hijacked & Robbed: La Mercy – KZN
A hijacking & robbery was reported at Casuarina Beach in La Mercy – KwaZulu-Natal at approximately 13:25 today (Thursday).
Three (3) suspects confronted a group of beachgoers and fled with a vehicle belonging to one (1) of the victims. According to information received, the victim was at the beach with friends during a social gathering when three (3) unidentified male suspects approached them. One (1) suspect reportedly produced a firearm and threatened the females before demanding vehicle keys and personal belongings.
The armed males allegedly robbed the victims of bank cards, including cards belonging to another female before fleeing the scene in a white Kia Picanto.

• Fuel Level: Approximately half tank
