Six injured after two car collide on the Table Mountain Road in Pietermaritzburg

Six people were injured early this morning after two light motor vehicles collided on the Table Mountain Road in Pietermaritzburg.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the two light motor vehicles on the side of the road. One woman, believed to be in her 50s, and five men were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the six people and found that they had sustained minor to serious.

The patients were treated for their injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg and Northdale Hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is being investigated by local authorities.
