Pedestrian Killed In Hit-and-Run: Inanda – KZN
A pedestrian has died following an alleged hit-and-run accident on the M25 highway near Inanda – KZN, during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Phoenix Operations Centre received a call from a member of the public at approximately 05:24 requesting assistance for a critically injured pedestrian lying in the roadway.
Reaction Officers responded and found an adult male who had sustained life threatening injuries and demised prior to the arrival of First Responders.
A witness reported that the vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene but allegedly dropped a registration plate at the location.
The registration details were handed over to Ntuzum SAPS in KZN for further investigation.
