Nigerian national arrested after he was found with 11 pockets of cocaine powder in one of the flats in the Point area, Durban.
On Wednesday, 22 Juiy 2026 members from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit arrested a 32-year-old Nigerian national after he was found with 11 pockets of cocaine powder in one of the flats in the Point area, Durban. The estimated street value of the recovered drugs is R33 000.
An extensive search of the same building led to the abandoned recovery of 830 Ecstasy tables, Crystal Meth and 300g of Methcathonone. The street value of these recovered drugs is estimated to be R154,800.00.
The arrested suspect will appear before the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 23 July 2026.
