3-Year-old seriously injured after been knocked by vehicle on Umgeni Road near Innes Road
A three year old boy has sustained serious injuries after being knocked down by a vehicle on Umgeni Road near Innes Road on Friday evening.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene just after 07:30pm to find the young boy on the pavement. The child had sustained serious injuries and was stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the accident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
